Cleopatra was an Ancient Egyptian ruler. She was born in 69 B.C. (The time before Christ.) In 51 B.C. her father died, leaving the throne to Cleopatra and her brother. The two married, but soon enough, her brother wanted to rule for himself, so he made Cleopatra run off. She raised an army to fight back. Julius Caesar arrived in 48 B.C. and Cleopatra fell in love with him. Caesar and his soldiers helped Cleopatra return to her throne. She had a son with him, but not long after, Caesar was assassinated in 44 B.C. Not long after, Cleopatra fell in love with Mark Antony. She had twins with him, and not long after, he received false news of Cleopatra's death, and killed himself. When Cleopatra heard this, she did the same.
